Crack in both front brake pads
During a wheel change today I noticed that both outer brake pads on the front have a small hairline crack on the leading edge. Both sides are almost identical.
Question is: Is this safe to drive on? The pads still have a lot of life left (Centric Stoptech ceramics).

It's probably not safe. Usually when this happens, it's a master cylinder issue causing too much force on the pad - cracking it. If you have a lifetime warranty on those, I'd go change them out soon. Better to be safe, man. If it's brakes or suspension, and you question it, repair it.

I tend to agree, unfortunately the warranty on Centric is only 90 days. Maybe I should try Powerstop instead.
If anything the pressure on the pad should be lower than stock since I have a stock master cylinder and wagon brakes.
