    Auto F22 to Auto H22

    are the starters compatible?

Should be. I dont see why not manual f22/manual h22 works. So I dont see why auto/auto wont work.

Check the part numbers in a breakdown. Any Honda dealer should be able to tell you if they're the same.

i do beleive so. Clutch/Flywheel interchange, Tranny and interchange so i dont see why startters cant.

I might even have a h starter on my f tranny. I might even have a hybrid with the base part of it F and the round thing H.

I am about 95% certain that they ARE the same

Auto/manual starters are not the same. Its only compatible auto auto or manual manual.

                ha!

turns out i forgot to ground the starter to the body.

grounded it out with jumper cables and the car fired right up y0!

from what i've been reading online auto/auto manual/manual is good, but does it matter on years as well, would a 90/91 manual work on a 95 manual H? I tried running part numbers through majestic's list but when i check diff years some show denso some mitsuba and only components where others show the whole thing
