Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    AEM or INNOVATIVE air/fuel gauge

i want to get a wide band gauge and torn between these two. i am doing a bit of tuning and it seems like the innovative would be the better bet since it comes with log works and i can hook it straight to my laptop. im tuning with crome pro and using a po6

anyone have experience with the gauges, pros and cons

I don't have any AEM experience but:
Which Innovate model were you looking to get?

The LC1 and LC2 both use serial connection not usb (which most laptops don't have)

The LM2 kit has USB, but also has a hand controller.

I've only ever heard of calibration issue on the aem units but its mostly personal preference. I have the LC1 and love it but a few of my friends are die hard aem guys.

I have the LC-1. I've had it for about 4-6 months. It does what it is supposed to do. If I had to do it again I would prob get the Mtx. I did buy an extra bosch sensor because from what I read online they fail.
I turn the key plug my iPhone in. And then when the gauge stops flashing 7.4. I drive.

I was looking at the G2 with the LC-2. I have a serial to usb converter cable that I found in my spare computer junk box so hooking to laptop won't be a problem.

With the aem is it possible to data log straight to laptop or will I have to get there data logger for 300
