Not a complete axle. Just outboard sent. WTF.

I ordered an oem front right axle and i got what it seems is the shaft and outboard joint. No inboard joint. WTF. IS this normal. Part number is 44010-SM4-A11 . That shows a complete axle. I don't even see a part number just for outboard joint, boot, and shaft. I do see where it shows a separate part for inboard joint but not outboard. Can i just replace the outboard. That is the part that is leaking. That seems like a pain having to join the one that is on car now with this new one. WTF is that store thinking(amazon seller). I don't want to call them and cuss them until i am sure i am right. What yall think.

I agree, from what I can find, 44010-SM4-A11 should be the complete drive shaft assembly. The outboard joint (without the boot) is 44014-SV4-950 or 44014-SM4-020.

Thanks fleetwood. AM wondering if i can use it. The outer joint is the leaking one. Seems dumb to me just to replace the outboard joint when individually they are $200(outer joint) and $280(inner joint) a piece and a set is $312(both joints and axle shaft). Probably harder to install also with just the outer joint?

I've learned to rebuild various things on my car (steering rack, power antenna, fan motors, etc), but I've never bothered to mess with axles - just replaced the whole assembly. I figure if one end is bad, the other may not be too far behind.

On my car many years ago (before I started doing most of my own work), I had Tire Discounters install axles with a lifetime warranty. Just got my 3rd replacement on the right side (about 90,000 miles each).
