ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Aftermarket EMS setups

I need to figure out what to get.

I am planing on running a dsm 14g / dsm injectors/upgraded fuel pump

I am familiar with Mega Squirt but everyone on honda tech cries about it and says we have hondata and it makes it easy.

I've been looking into a S200 with boost options with a hondata map sensor. How good is the Hondata? I would really love to have it all hooked up to play around when my car is non turbo but I understand if thats a bad idea. I would love to have my MS style fuel and ignition graphs and all my sensor readings data logged on my laptop. I also plan on getting a wideband, any recommendations?

i would definently pay the extra money for the s300 it has so many other options. i have friends running hondata and they love it and said it is pretty easy to use.

for a budget DSM setup, you can just download Crome for free and it will do the SAME exact thing that Hondata does

Are you running a 14b or a 16g. There is no such thing as a 14g DSM turbo.

I personally use hondata and love the usability of it. pass on the megasquirt its gonna take you a LONG time to get your car to run the way you want it when you do not have a map to start from.

But he said he's familiar with it.

The hardest part about MS is getting it initially setup. MS is a great option if you reallly don't mind head aches.

But if it's just a simple 14b setup, I'd opt for Crome free. It does the job just fine.

But if you're set on paying for something, then I'd suggest getting eCtune over Hondata. eCtune is cheaper AND better. Plus, it has support like none other.
