ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Coupe Rear Interior Panel Removal Assistance

    I have an EX Coupe.

Okay, so I'm currently working on redoing my interior door panels, but I need some help figuring out how to remove the rear panels for my coupe.

I removed my seats, and got the 4 screws that hold in the panel

    1) Arm Handle (Upper)
    2) Arm Handle (Lower)
    3) Bottom Screw
    4) Screw near the backrest

and the rest is clips all the way around... BUT. here's the snag:

    1) how do i separate the plastic piece that guides the seatbelt (the opening from where the seatbelt comes out from) from the panel without snapping it off? theres very little space to get behind there, and very little room to play... :[

    Questions:

Has anyone with a coupe ever tried to remove the rear panel?
Do you know what part I'm talking about?
Can you provide me some insight as to how to take care of this situation?

If I can get this information, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

It's a lot easier working on the rear side panels with the bench removed.

Try (gently yet firmly) pulling the panel out from the door jamb area. That should get a couple clips out, so you can remove the seat belt guide. Pop it out from behind the panel.
    My pictures/photos will return soon...

i noticed they were screwed in too, would i just have to pull the panel out enough to get some arm room, and get a stubby phillips and unscrew the plastic piece off of the panel? cuz i tried to pop it off (I was at the junkyard, so i was practicing on what few coupes there were), and i didn't notice if it could or not... :[

Which parts are you referring to?

The top half of the panel (vinyl/cloth) is screwed onto the bottom half (plastic/cloth). You can remove the entire panel as one item, tug onto the seatbelt to get enough slack, and then pull the panel out for easier access to said screws.

            Ah, okay.

Well, if you don't want to pull the entire panel out, I guess you're stuck using the stubby!
