hey i have a problem my tranny isnt catching??? i was driving home from skool and i was pressing the gas and and i was just reving and rolling so i pulled over and look at my tranny. i saw their was no dipstick and no fluid i dont know what happen to my stick it was their a couple days ago but i went and got fluid put in and it work fine for a couple minutes and it happen again could it b that since im missing my dipstick air is going into my tanny can u help me???

No Dipstick? Im sure someone more knowledgable will chime in on this sooner or later but I will try and help.
#1 If theres no dipstick there and there was a few days ago. Either someones playing a cruel joke on you or you worked on your car with a 40 in hand.
Buy a dipstick.
#2 Check for leaks.
Auto I will assume? If its a 5spd and you dont know its the clutch, and I do...stop driving. (just kidding).
Given the fact thats its an AT...usually this problem occurs when the fluid level is DOWN and there isnt enough oil being distributed to the torque converter which causes slipage.
Or an ecu problem. I know that there is a switch that could go bad and causes slipage, wanting to shift gears to early or to late. Otherwise, your in the neighbohood of a tranny rebuild.
