        Just a thought, since the chrome rod portion has a ball joint end, can the ball joint screw be mounted into the INSIDE of the hinge portion? It might resolve some cleareance issues that way.

            got mine the other day!

            only problem was the majority of the legend shock i was going to buy wouldn't hold up the hood any more lol.

            So double check they still work when you go un bolt them

            ^^click it or ticket^^

                                For those interested in drill / tap sizes.

                                To calculate to drill / tap ratio simply subtract the thread pitch from the bolt size.
                                Eg. To calculate a tap size for a M10 bolt with a 1.25mm thread pitch, a 8.75mm hole would need to be drilled first (10mm-1.25mm=8.75) then tap that hole with a M10x1.25 tap.
