ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

k24 bottom end wit k20 head?

I have full k20 head and was wondering if i buy a k24 bottom end would it work ??how much power would it put out? or would it be better to sell it and buy h22 full swap?

It will work with the crv or tsx bottom end, it WILL NOT work with the accord bottom end without swapping the pistons out. Your power will vary greatly depending on what supporting mods you buy, could be as low as 185whp, or it could go up to around 210-215 without cams. If you went with the tsx bottom end and got some skunk2 stage 2 cams put in and tuned with the right header you could easily be making 235-240whp and 180-190wtq. The H22 will be cheaper but the K will no doubt be more powerful with more power for less work. Also the K will be very boost friendly stock.

let me see if i can get some pix of my boys set up.. his is on a rex though so yeah... i have always wanted to do a k swap with the 24 bottom and 20 head.. stupid power if you get the toda or type s cams or type s head alone... i suggest you do the tsx bottom end as well bc for the accord bottom end my boy almost got the accord but decided to use the tsx bottom end due to piston reasons... im not too sure.. i just texted him right now and ill get back as soon as possible.. hopefully he hasnt sold the car yet... other than that i say you do it!!! original and very respectful..

Getting the K series to work in a CB7 is no easy or inexpensive task. The H22 bolts right in.
