    taping lenses together

    anyone ever try this?
    18-55mm kit lens taped to front of 50mm


    it creates some crazy macro shots.

                    i've been dabbling in this method lately using an old chinon 50mm 1.9 and my D40. Pics come out amazing, if you ask me.

                      I've done that once before, but I just held them together instead of using tape. Used a pair of 50mm f/1.4 lenses, one AF and one MF. Got some interesting results.
