    Timing belt kits

Hey guys, my car's due for a timing belt change so I'm looking for a good kit. I found one on ebay that has OEM products:

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/AISIN-Water-P...ht_1895wt_1163

I think it's a pretty good deal for $220 (Unfortunately with $60 shipping since I'm in Canada) but still at $280 I think it's a good deal.

What are you opinions on the kit?

The only other kit I could find that was similar was this one:
    http://www.autopartsway.ca/PartDetai.../pagenum1/tabS

But it didn't come with everything the other kit did.

I believe Gates Racing makes a nice set of belts for our cars that have better characteristics over the "basic" timing belts. Unfortunately I don't believe they include water pumps so you'd have to grab that from a local parts store.

I'd trust Gates products any day and I have them on my car now. I can't say the same for any "kit" bought off of ebay, but opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

Think of it this way, for something as crucial as a timing belt, the little extra cash and piece of mind is worth it in the long run.

I bought a Gates timing and balance shaft belt for 36 bucks from O'reilly Auto Parts...didn't really replace anything else on the DD though since it all looked fresh but since I didn't know the history of the belts, i did those for sure.
