I was working on my good friend Manny_Turbo CD5. We were installing a set of function and form coilover. When going to remove the rear OEM shock the lower bolt seized. When trying to remove the bolt the bushing broke off for the rear spindle DAMN.... After thinking about for 30 min and looking in the garage, I saw the energy suspension box and the bulb in my head turn on... lol I saw a set of bushings in the box, the set for the front upper control arm. I didn't use them because of the camber kit in front of the suspension. Anyway it worked and now I did it for my coupe.. I hope you guys like the idea
Rear spindle
rear bushing
bit of heat
Now remove the metal sleeve
Remove the rubber bushing. But leave the outer metal ring where the bushing was
Now heres the new bushing
And now install the energy suspension bushing and here it is finish
It should press in with you hands but its going to be tight. The bushing is the same size of the OEM bushing and can use the OEM bolt.. Have fun
