So I'm setting my base idle in the heat today, and I got it to 600 average I believe since any lower goes to 550 RPM. I've read the article but it did not state whether it going from 550-650 RPM back and forth ocassionally was OK or not. Otherwise it holds idle better than before, when the engine would die just from braking up hill after pushing the clutch in.
If I move the bypass screw any further CW it'll average towards the 500RPM level.
It's a bone stock '93 five speed. No modifications.
This is my first attempt by myself to prepare the car for smog since I rebuilt her engine.
Edit: This is with the electrical connector to the IACV disconnected.
