    Black plastic bracket behind headlight

I had an accident this winter and am trying to replace parts myself to save on repairs. I cannot find what the part number is for the black plastic piece your corner lights screw into. Mine is broken and missing on the drivers side. Anyone know what part this is and where to find it?

not available separately, it's physically a part of the headlight mounting bracket which I have not seen sepaprately sold

easier to get the complete headlight assembly.

    edit

i am so wrong but partially correct, the bracket is available from Honda but a bit pricey

I think I paid close to that for a used headlight at the JY.

holy crap, 31.31 a piece for the bracket? I think I was better off just going to the junk yard for my headlights when mine got broken back in 2012.
1997 Ford Explorer V-6 AT (what a piece of junk)
1993 Nissan Sentra M/T (front end damage, off road for now)
        1999 Mercury Mountaineer V-8 A/T - RIP (rolled: totaled)
1992 Honda Accord A/T EX - RIP (transmission shot: sold to junkyard)

here you see one of the reasons why insurance companies are so quick to "total" loss an older car than to repair it

called a guy in my Cosworth club that does different types of insurance and he told me that they have basic orders that any vehicle model year 2000 or older is basically an instant total even if it is a scratch on the fender that would just have to be repainted, just shaking my head at that fact

I ran into the same thing with Ruby. I got rear ended which broke the fiberglass beam, bent the bracket and pushed in the lower trunk lip about 1/2 inch. Initial quote was $1400; it only took $1100 to total it. The body shop has to use auditable prices for their repair parts for insurance estimates, so they have to quote new OEM or aftermarket, not used parts where there isn't necessarily a clear trail to the price. I was able to repair it for about $300 (reman OEM bumper cover, I had a good beam, straightened the bracket and trunk lip myself).
