    My power steering leaks?

Hello, i know you seen another thread here, but this is wierd, and different .
my p/s pump is leaking yellow oil.. Its on top,and it does it everytime . I clean it, and i start the motor .. i go out, when the motor gets checked again - next morning , theres oil there. Like this .
And .. When i ran the motor for less than 10 mins i :
I had JUST cleaned it .

Your seals are going. I think a PS rebuild kit is pretty cheap, it comes with all the gaskets. I have/had one laying around, but I don't need it I'll probably delete my PS

        OEM is not that expensive.

my PS pump was doing the same thing figured it was the seals,
went to my local Oreilly's & purchased a repair kit.
replaced the seals and no more leaks!

heres the link of the kit i bought.

if i had a chance to do it over again id buy the OEM kit
just for the peace of mind that the seals will last a lot longer.

OEM is best, everything else is a tad bit cheaper and may not be reliable.

Wish I had your luck a while ago.... replaced my power steering rack that blew the seals on the ps pump got a rebuild kit from oreilly and the front seal kept blowing out needless to say I got Real good at putting together and takeing apart the pump had to replace the whole thing after that seal would just never seat and going through 1 bottle of ps fluid

If you are going to rebuild go oem fact. The price isn't bad. I replaced mine from autozone for the same price as an oem rebuild give or take a couple bucks. Should be 50-60 if I remember right. That's approx 1 year no problems.
