ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Keyless entry wiring diagram

I'm trying to figure out how to get the OEM radio security system/keyless entry sytem integrated into my '92 wagon. I don't have the stock IR system, but there is the control unit under the driver's seat. I was hoping that the OEM sedan/coupe system might be a plug-n-play setup; unfortunately, I'm not that lucky.

The curious thing is that the official Honda service manuals that I have (1992 Accord and 1992 accord electrical troubleshooting manual) don't mention anything for the keyless/security system for the coupe/sedan

If someone could please let me know what the pigtails coming out of the security system control unit look like, and perhaps point me in the right direction of where to find a wiring diagram, I would be forever grateful.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Jarrett! Where did you get them from? Any idea why they aren't in the factory manual?

Sorry for still not getting this for you. I don't know why. I honestly haven't looked through the factory manual that thoroughly. I have, however, looked through the diagrams in my Haynes manual and it has the diagrams both for it and the wagon's optional keyless entry. I'm at work right now but send me a reminder pm sometime this afternoon/evening and I can get it for you.

Sweet, thanks! I'll hit you up later tonight.

On a side note, does anyone know if this has been done before?

I have a ton more where that came from but instead of all these pictures I think I'm going to scan the pages instead and upload them into the Keyless entry thread.

I have a 92 EX sedan.I have been having problems with my factory installed alarm and keyless entry. The relay that flashes the lights is going crazy under the dash.Unplugging it kills my lights. It also prevents the engine from starting and locks the doors when it shouldn't.I carry a spare key in my wallet for those times when it locks me out. There seems to be a factory wiring harness or maybe two that are replaced by the factory alarm's wiring harness.I been trying to figure it out so I can just install the correct harnesses and do away completely with the factory alarm.Nothing worth stealing in my old beat Accord.

The security system is a completely separate harness that the stock harness plugs into. You can simply unplug and remove it. The only thing you're going to have to cut is the LED indicator. If your going to go down that route, I'll gladly take it off your hands!
