What do you think is it work saving $125 for this?

not sure if i should be embarrassed or happy, but just under a year ago when i rebuilt my h22 i made my own version on this while never having seen this thread. i was testing it in my own build and when i was satisfied it was safe i was going to make a dyi for the conversion.

^Nice! I'd be proud. I mean, I am still very impressed with the KS tensioner but I really do dig that tensioner made from the body of the auto unit. If I had an H22, I'd def. do this mod.

I had that engine running pretty good, that mod worked pretty darn well. But I totalled the car it was in. Still got the engine, do you think this is salvageable? I think the insurance company sent it to the DMV for a non-repairable cert tho so I don't think it can be ever put back on the road. THey payed me for the loss.

Usually IMO if the wheels are all still lined up or can be lined up with a bolt on part it's fixable. You do the repairs, have it inspected and get a salvage title.
That inspection can be easy in some states and hard in others. From what I can tell you are basically a headlight/turn signal and bumper from passing in Ohio.
