Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Quick Release

    Im looking for a quick release and i wanted to know if theres any good reliable ones with the hub and quick release for around $100.i want it just for right now just to save up money for an nrg set.

    I've had an ebay quick release since christmas and have'nt had any issue's with it. i think i payed like 70$ for the wheel and the quick release?

        I have an ebay hub and quick release for my rx7, I think both of them was like $40. The quality is pretty good, I have no complaints other than its a bit bulky.

        NRG makes some very nice quick releases if you would feel more comfortable with a name brand.

            I don't have any pics of my actual setup, but here here is the quick release I have.

            The hub was just a ebay boss hub that was like $10 shipped.

            I'm sure it's not the best, but I've had it over a year and it's very sturdy and has never shown signs of flexing or becoming loose or anything.

              I had 1 few years ago. Fell apart in the box, buddy has 1 in a civic. And its wobbly like. I ain't feeling that shit.

                Well i gues its a hit and miss with ebay.im guesing im just going to get the nrg hub then save for the quick release.but do people have any pics????

                    Jdm sport via ebay. Had those wheels before and never had problems with them.

                        you know............... the funny thing is the jdm sport fits on the nrg one,i tried it once and the nrg lock fit on the jdm sport piece that stays on the car

                            I have heard that the eBay ones get wobbly on you. I got a nrg short hub and quick release on my cb.

                              What about the cover/plate for the quick release. Its so no 1 else can put a detachable wheell on. It even has a lock with key.

                              Sweet mercy, no wonder ppl get the ebay shit. The nrg quick release is like 90 beans.
