Fuel pumps can "soft" fail, but you'll typically see pressure decrease as more volume is requested from the the injectors when that happens.

After my custom wire harness, I couldn't get the motor firing right.
This is important. I would revisit this before you waste time any more time chasing something else...

I've got a stock OBD1 ody harness for engine and dash. It did the same thing as the old custom harness I had. I think I have a fuel problem some where. I've changed:

      Dizzy
      Wires
      Plugs
      Injectors
      Sensors
      Relays
      Harness
      Fuse Panels
      ECUs
      Motor(s)

I swear, when it comes to something I desire most I have the biggest issues with it. Computers, Cars, House, women, ect.. it's my luck.

Nah, just means you have to work a bit harder at it! If you really desire it, you'll get it.

        Now, back to this issue.
97 Honda Odyssey with F22A1 and PT6 ECU

Cyl #3 and #4 fire when all are connected.
Unplug Cyl #4 and cyl #1, #2, and #3 start to fire.

You put an OEM OBD1 Odyssey harness in the car, didn't make a difference on firing. The chassis is OBDII. This doesn't have any shock tower connectors does it? The OBD1 engine harness connects straight to the ECU?

It sounds like a signal/timing(not mechanical timing) issue rather than fuel or spark.

I was wondering that too if it was the signal with say the dizzy and injectors but I don't get any codes besides 41. With code 41 it wouldn't go away with the o2 plugged in so it makes me believe somethings not right. It's a new NTK sensor.

I wish I could get Ghostaccord to chime in on this. I found below a link, is the F22A and B dizzy different and maybe that's the cause of my problem?

I feel so stupid, it was the EGR valve the whole time. I wasted time so much time thinking it was wiring. I thought I would let you know what solved my problem.

The EGR? Wow that is wild, the last thing I would have suspected.
How did you figure that out?
