Here. Step 16. He mentioned about the bearing cover. Are you certain that the sound came from the front and not the rear? Maybe have some one drive your car and you stand outside and listen to the sound reproduced. Also check your bushings. If it tears or cracked, it's hard to see without stress on it. But metal to metal. But if the sound increasing with revolution speed then that is not it.

I shook rotor for movement. Doesn't move to see if my bearings are bad, I regreased the bolts that make the rotor slide.

I don't get it. If I take apart brakes and put them back the sound goes away but will come back. Caliper doesn't stick. Rotor spins freely.

Our cars don't have that shield. That DIY is for a prelude not an accord.

Notice the hub isn't held on with the 4 12pt bolts.

to me it also sounds like the metal clips that hold the caliper in place.
a stone caught can also make a loud screeching/scraping noise

usually any loud screeching/scraping noises are to do with the pads or calipers. in all my years i have never heard a wheel bearing do that nore any other part and im 37

Wht can happen to the clips? Slide out or something? My rotors neeed replacing. They r not smooth.I was thinkin of changed pads out. But didn't want to fork the money out if it wasn't that.

Sounds like the scrappin is comin from the back. I pulled ebrake while driving and I can hear and feel it in the ebrake handle. Ordered oem blanks and pads.

Now I hit a curb yesterday. Popped the tire and all. Seems I did more damage to the wheel than anything. But noticed I can't fit my pinky completely thru from behind the tire and arm. Idk if I bent something or not, and didn't notice this crazy line on my rotor. Perhaps its from the worn pads. Idk if its from hittin the curb. Wheel doesn't wobble and it doesn't shake. It rotated normal.

                Finger doesnt pass thru

                Finger does pass thru

Disc line, pretty sure its from worn down pads. Idk.
