    I'm really confused now.

My belts are actually starting to rip - the cloth is worn and eventually they'll tear in two.

Is this something replaceable under warranty?

It may be. It really depends on who you get behind the counter

I took my brothers car ( all stock but beat up ) and they flat out told me no because it had a salvage title. That is kinda bullshit. Meanwhile i took my integra to the acura dealership and they said because my car had a salvage title they wanted to verify the belts were not physically damaged. They did and replaced them regardless of the salvage title.

Omg so sweet. My back drivers side seat belt has ben stuck out for a while now. I called the dealer and they will replace it. Ill post pictures when I get it.
Question: will they cover the clips on the side of the seat that hold the lap belt on the 90-91 so you can grab them

probably not since its not really part of the seatbelt system foresay

it doesn't hurt to ask though

I could be. It holds the seat belt to the side of seat so you can grap it therefor it is part of the seat belt system

yes but it has no bearing on the seatbelts function

its just inconvinent to have to reach down so far to grab it. They only replace the seatbelts if their function for safety has been compromised

so with all you guys talking about lifetime warranty. what else is covered by life time? my radiator had a sticker on it for a lifetime warranty, does that mean i get a free one if it wears out? anyone know where i can find a list?

I have heard a few members say they don't manufacture the belts anymore and if your dealer does not have them its a no go. Someone correct me if im wrong. So I guess if your gonna get them replaced look into it sooner than later.

Thank you for bumping this and answering the thread over in technical. I'll give them a call this week and see what they say about warranty work.

That is a possibility now that our cars are almost 25 yrs old. Just this past weekend I tried to buy a heater bypass valve or water valve as they call it, and it's been discontinued. I really wanted the Honda Denso version too since it lasted over 21 years of trouble free service. I put a Oreilly auto one in my daily and it started leaking 3 yrs later

I'll have to do this too for my gf's "new" CB. The belts don't retract very well.

Most likely selling my coupe Monday but I'll have to swing by a dealership to get all mine replaced. They don't retract for shit.
