A sad day. A longtime member passed away yesterday.

It seems that we lost one of our own yesterday.
Eric Hall, known here as Mayberry, passed away last night. I don't know how or why, but it is definitely tragic. He was 25 years old.

Eric got married last year (I was honored to be invited to the wedding.) He leaves behind a wife and two young children.

He was always one to stir the pot here on the forum. Never afraid to speak his mind, no matter who he offended. Those who understood him appreciated that. Those that didn't understand didn't matter.

Eric wasn't a close friend of mine, but he was a friend. We went through a lot of the same crap at the same time, and listened to each other bitch about it on occasion. He was one of the people that helped keep my grounded during some of the hardest times in my life, and for that I'm grateful.

You will be missed, friend. I'm sorry that I never got my ass up to NY to have a beer with you. I'll have one for you tonight.

Damn; sad to hear. Him and I had a disagreement once, moved passed it, and then shared some of the same thoughts/ideas in numerous threads. Never got to meet the guy, but...

May the Lord watch over him as he R.I.P.
