ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Euro-r power steering

I got a power steering pump, bracket, high pressure line from a 93 prelude with a h22 motor out of the junkyard but it want sit flat on the block anyone else have this issue or do I have the wrong pump and bracket being that my motor is euro-r?

Hey Skeeter. Umm we need more details but it sounds like you have the wrong pump. Just get the part # off the part and make sure it's the correct one for your engine. If you are trying to put a H22 PS Pump on a F22 it will not work.

Curious what you are doing for controlling and powering the MR2 pump?

Indeed, I do quite enjoy it as well. Where did you mount yours?

damn thats badass!! mine is just laid up in the engine bay for now. is that the kmotor bracket? i like that position a lot.

did you wire in a separate switch? i deleted my cruise control and pinned the mr2 pump the switch out so it looks factory lol.

Mine is wired to the Cruise Switch also. It works really well there.

Its a bracket a guy on k20a makes (made?). I had to cut off the flange to mount it there.

                    I have a obd2 h22 euro-r motor and transmission. The power steering came off a 1993 prelude with a h22 auto transmission .

Damn, that MR2 ps setup is sick!
Skeeter I think you need to use a later ps w/bracket setup. Like 97 & up Preludes have.
If I remember correctly my 97 Acura CL with Euro-R set-up used the f22b (97 CL stock motor) ps & bracket bolted to the Euro-R motor.

That is definitely very nice!! Might have to add that to the list if my other PS idea doesn't work.

Ummm ok i need to know how to do this now There are not a lot of mods left to do on the car to do but I'd love to do this while the engine is out.

What do I need to make this happen?

Yes, chances are you’ll have to use the ps line from the car you get the bracket, pump, etc from. Just make sure the ps bracket has the same mounting bolt pattern as your motor.
