Yeah you pretty much will just leave the rear lines in and thats it..once you start to do it you will see how easy it is..

For the no pressure problem it could be because of a leak, bad bmc or air in the system..also as for cutting and flaring the line its easier to go buy a non abs bmc from autozone for 28 new

Mixing and matching non-ABS masters to ABS boosters is a bad idea. Vtechno ran into issues doing that, comes down to diff. pushrod length I believe. I'm a big fan of leaving the ABS master + booster in there, reflare corresponding line w/ the large M12 ABS fitting.

What type of problems would this cause?
Perhaps an inability to bleed my brakes lol?

Mine worked better than ever. So i dont think thats a problem. I used a non abs master with an abs booster and it bled. And the braking was ok.

Why is there four lines going to the rear? I haven't put my car on a lift to follow where the go to. I'm assuming two from the proportioning valve and two from the ABS unit. Is this the case?

There are only two lines for the rear brakes. The other lines are your fuel lines.

This is why I need to get under my car, so that I can see what's going on. I only get a glance from time to time.

Also, when looking at the ABS unit, it looks like it has more than four brake line coming from it. This confused me a bit. I guess when I take my intake off, I can get a full inspection of what's going on.

                        Actually it's 5 lines. What's the deal?

Typical fuel injection system has 3 lines : Feed line, return line and vapor line. That should account for 3 lines.

                            Learn something new everyday.

Time to read up on EFI. This hasn't been covered in any of the books that I read. Damn it. Time for me to read my old LTI automotive book from over a decade ago.

                            Thanks.

as for the extra lines coming out of the abs system, those are normal. They have four going to the abs modulator I believe and then two more for the accumulator, or vice versa lol. its a pretty simple mod if you have everything ready. Its even more simple if you dont have an engine in the car. I was swapping my headgasket so I did it when the head was off. The hardest part of this mod was bleeding the brakes. To put it how simple this is i give it a 2 out of 5. basic hand tools and your typical lefty loosey righty tighty and youre set.

                                reup.

has anybody done this using an adapter for m10 to m12 for the lines? instead of cutting and reflaring?
