ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Will larger intake help with stock engine? A6 mani

I want to swap to a6 cam, intake and ecu with h23 plenum and TB.but I’m not ready to swap the cam just yet.I have another set of iab valves for the dual runners though and was thinking that I could just hit the butterfly valves and grind the holes out and run both set of runners all the time. I have intake and full exhaust kit so do you think it would benefit nicely or would it almost bottleneckit? Thanks for the opinions.

If you eliminate the IAB system, you run the risk of having a soggy bottom end. The h23 plenum should be sufficient, along with the functional IAB, to give a decent bump in power. It’ll get better with the A6 cam, but it’ll work without.

My only worry is that it will run rich because the fuel mapping is of the ecu is different due to larger cam lobes. But I really don’t know how much different it is

It will likely run a bit rich, but the lobes on the a6 cam aren’t that much more extreme.
Don’t forget, your o2 sensor will provide feedback, and the ecu will adjust accordingly.

i ran the h23 intake manifold with double stack plenium but had the IABS hooked up and it made nice low end torque improvements.

I didn't do the cam but I did the h23 ECU and that helped as well. Felt fun to drive it again.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I’ll probably just go for it without the cam for now. Are stock injectors able to tune themselves from the ecu? I wasn’t sure if they could even on a small scale

The injectors are the same on all f22a engines, as well as the h23a1. That won’t be an issue.
