Cloudy greyish fluid in oil pan

So I opened up the H22a and found this. I rubbed it between my fingers and it didn't feel grainy. I then took a magnet to it to see if it would pick it up, which it didn't. When I drained the oil I saw very little of this in the pan. I haven't opened up the new oil filter yet to check for metal in it.

Not sure what this could be. I have researched and some people have said it was water/ condensation. This motor has been sitting for a couple months and I'm not sure how water or condensation could get into the pan.

What is the history of the engine (haven't dug around in your other threads)? Some type of additive that has settled out of the oil after sitting a while?

Condensation is still a possibility, especially with the engine sitting for so long.

I don't know much history about the motor since I bought it from a person who sold me the whole car for $400. I know whoever owned it before this person must have had the swap done professionally. But the previous owner before me didn't take as good of care as they should have. When I purchased it, it wasn't starting and it was due to a bad coil. But most of the gaskets in head were shot since there was oil leaking from everywhere except the head gasket. The intake manifold gasket was baked on the head.

So it wouldn't surprise me if the previous owner used some kind of additive. Just not sure what. If it's in the oil makes me think it's for some kind of leak but I've never seen what a head gasket additive looks like.

send a sample into these guys, they can tell you a lot about whats going on (amount of bearing particulates, cylinder wash etc)

IMO i think its fine, even sitting stagnant the engine is going to form dew due to temp fluctuations, unless you have the loot to store in an environmentally controlled place. Most people when they store engines drain all fluids, use air to push out the last bits then fog the cylinders with like wd-40 or kroil or a specific engine fogging formulation. It could also just be condensation from prior use and the water separated from the oil after sitting so long. My engine from HMO when I broke it down had a little bit of that schmoo in the oil pan too
