Anybody else approach random people that happen to own a wagon and offer to buy it? I do all the time but everybody looks at me like im nuts or like im about to rob them (I am a fairly large dude) there are a decent amount around here but NEVER have I ever seen one for sale. And I have been looking for YEARS.

Yeah i do it with 5th gen i got lucky on mine. all the accord here are rusted out but mine just came from cali .it was scrapped with supposedly a bad trans got it for 700 put in some tranny fluid its been fine for 4000 miles lol

Haha yea big dudes have to look extra friendly when approaching people. Clean shaven, fitted cloths, and clear speech.

Should have today. Saw a little old lady driving a perfect 91 maroon wagon. Almost stopped to try to talk to her, but I realized how that would go down and just kept going.

i saw a clean wagon here in town... was out shopping with my daughter so when i saw a lady approaching the car i asked her if she would be... and thats all the words i got out.. she mased me.. wow does it burn... cops were called and all. once i got some water in my face and able to talk and open my eyes again i was able to tell my side of the story... was super crazy.. never will i again approach a lil old lady by herself.

yes mase burns very bad lol.. but sometime i forget to approach people with caution. being big,bald,mexican with tats seems to scare people. but now if i see a car i like i just write a note and stick it to the windshield its alot easier and safer..

I got my EX sedan by stopping at a house and asking if he wanted to sell it. He didn't at the time, but three years later (March 2012), he stopped by my house and asked if I was still interested.

I made up some business cards. If I see a CB7/9, I will leave a card on it. These days I write "Need parts?" on the back - trying to get rid of parts from my wrecked coupe (note: This is not an offer for sale on this forum).

i tried approaching a lady with a cb7 with oem fogs idk if you guys know but there hard to come across and i actually offered her $200 and a new bumper with same color as hers and she said no i was so sad
