wow

i am getting my windows tinted this summer and this has helped so much. Thanks for posting the link on state laws. You really helped someone out and there is probably others out there that might wanna look at this to if they are considering window tint.

Dude, you need to make it to STL some time.

Mannix, why do your windows look all smooth and flawless in the one pic? Almost liek mirrors...

That's what good tint just looks like.

NC is 32% not 35% so he needs to get that adjusted.

That's weird. I've only ever seen tint sold in 5% increments.

WA is B.A i got 18 % sides and 5% in back, cops dont even look twice our law is 32 or 35 % i cant remember, but the rear doesnt really matter. tint laws are usually one of those things, that unless you are running 5% all around, its mainly just a reason they can pull you over. like a tail light out or something. So dont be dumb and go 5% and you should be fine

nj tint laws suck. you can have any percent of tint on the rear window and the rear doors, but nothing up front ftl. it would of been nice to have front tint in nj with the rear. especially now with this oppressive heat wave were going through.

this will be helpful info to many. VT's not too bad, we're not allowed to have tint up front, which is fine by me since i dont like the look anyway. Never really have anything darker than 35%, imo it lays on neater and since it's not so dark, doesn't show imperfections associated with roll-on tint as the darker percentages.

Ontario tint laws in Canada are pretty good.
Just remember if you drive a lot at night DO NOT get dark tint or you will NOT be able to see at night.

Quote:
-A tint brow on the windshield cannot go no lower than 4 inches.

-For the driver’s compartment, right and left, no film can be installed that would substantially obscure visibility from the exterior. (35% Recomended)

-Behind the driver’s compartment, any film can be installed. (35%, 20% and/or 5%)

CT is pretty strict. 35%. i have that on my front doors so im legal, even though a cop told me otherwise. i have 20% around back (even though the sig doesnt show it) but theyre different shades.

i want 5% though around back but im afraid it'll be too dark lol

I have 5% all the way around and it sucks during night. I usually drive with my windows down and sunroof open during the day, unless its raining...

Hopefully you'll never get stuck with it nighttime AND raining.

5% tint + Night + Rain = Screwed

Law is 50% here in MN. After getting pulled over 3 times in 1 week for the tint that was on a previous car i bought, I took it all off.
