Just in case fuel rails from P2R are on the agenda at some time, I would hold off until Sean gets some machining sorted out. We've got him halfway convinced that he needs to machine a stop into all of the injector holes so that they bottom out like an OEM installation. Also, he needs to chamfer each hole to not eat a seal. It sounds like those changes will happen on the next round.

Pretty manifold, too! It's crazy how light that thing is. Do you need the EGR tube, seals and hardware for it? I have spares.

The EGR pipe that goes inside the manifold. Number 8 in this diagram.

Hmm, I wonder if there is a huge difference between the one on the 3.2 mani vs the 3.7 mani. From the pictures they look identical. The part numbers are different though so I don't know.

So when are the pre-cat delete's coming? The difference on the EGR pipe might be the shape or size of the hole on the bottom of the pipe. If they are different numbers there has to be something a bit different about them.

still waiting on the upper plenum, spacer and throttlebody install. I ordered the egr tube, it should be here friday. the exhaust and high flow pre-cats are on order aswell. Here's a little teaser of the AEM V2 and ported runners. the ecu hasnt fully learned the new mods yet but its getting there.

Finally got the TL-SHAWD Intake Manifold and throttle body install with the plenum spacer. I ended up trimming the factory engine cover to make the manifold look a little less out of place. Now the ecu's learning process starts all over. Its alot quicker than I thought it would be. Considering it has stock 900 cell pre cats with over 185k miles and a bone stock catback it still has room for growth.

I ordered the high flow pre-cats, cannot wait until they get here.

This Friday i can, hopefully, order my exhaust tubing kit. Im going full Vibrant mufflers and resonator. or maybe to a set of oem mufflers, i havent decided yet. part of me wants to do full 3" exhaust with twin varex's. xforce has a new obd2 controller that has peaked my intrest.

I love the moves you're making with this; I've always been a big fan of this gen TL's looks. Do you plan on making exterior videos for whatever exhaust you end up going with? J-series does sound pretty mean with the right exhaust

yah, i actually got a gopro hero 5 for my birthday. when i get the exhaust parts in ill post before and after videos. Im really back and forth with doing a 3" mid pipe section, im curious as to exhaust velocity at lower revs.

Not sure how I completely missed this thread. Last fall when I was out looking for a newer vehicle. I was torn between one of these and the Ridgeline.

I really like what you have done so far. The amount of support that the J series is getting is great. Even though there are only a handful of guys making the aftermarket parts, they seem to be all the right parts. I love that Honda has made the J series interchangeable for the most part. Aside from the VCM and newer direct injection models of course.

Any plans for going inside the heads? Set of cams maybe

I would love to do a manual swap in the Ridgeline. In my opinion that is Honda's largest misfire on the Ridgeline platforms.

How so? Sure, it would be nice, but look at how few TLs sold in '04-'08 with a manual, and even fewer still from '10-'14. If they can't get new car buyers to bite, it won't happen.

I agree, though. It would make a nice Wrangler alternative if it had a manual. Sure it wouldn't be as capable, but it would do other things more comfortably.
