Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Got the block back from the shop its is nice and pretty Work done: Bored to 85.5mm, Honed, Decked, Hot tanked, Powdercoated

Head before taken to the shop:

After having them check it, hot tank, replace valve seats and valve stem seals and have the head resurfaced:

Thinking about trying to port and polish myself but it will only be the exhaust side we shall see.

I plan to go get the pistons and rods pressed in this week:salook: Also dropping the crankshaft off to get micropolished

Just curious where you stick all of the stuff when you take it out of the engine bay?
did you have to extend wires?

i only had to extend one plug that went to the fuel system it was 3 wires. But i cut a hole just behind the strut tower and routed the wires through the fender and in front of the headlights it was fairly easy just make sure to disconnect your battery or else u will fry ur multiplex aka fusebox
