ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sets of Wheels for CB7 Accord

Hey all, I was just window shopping and thinking about what set of wheels to get in the future for my ride. Currently, I got the stock steel 14's with plastidipped wheel covers. lol Anyways, I've seen many users that have wheels on their cars, so I was wondering if any of you can recommend any wheel companies that I can take a look at. I am looking for a good 15-16 inch rim. Thanks!

    Very subjective question.
Here's a thread full of wheel pics:

Any wheel with a 4x114.3 lug pattern, offset between +35 and +45, and a center bore no smaller than 64.1mm (you will need hubcentric rings for any wheel with a bore larger than 64.1mm... most aftermarket wheels will be larger.) I would suggest a width no greater than 8".

People HAVE used wheels with offsets lower than +35, though the wheels will poke out beyond the fenders if you go low enough (requiring fender modification, or extreme negative camber... neither is good, and the wheel bearings will be under extreme stress.)
People HAVE used wheels with offsets higher than +35 (96 Integra Type R wheels, for example), but spacers are needed... and spacers aren't exactly the safest things either.
People have also used wheels that were wider than 8". I think I've seen up to 10"... but you encounter some clearance issues with those widths, somewhat remedied by stretching tires (unsafe), or otherwise modifying the vehicle (also potentially unsafe, depending on what is modified.)

In other words, get wheels that actually fit properly, and you'll be good.

As long as you get wheels that fit properly, you can get any style your little heart desires.

I'm a big fan of TireRack. Had a bad experience with Discount Tire (they didn't have what I wanted in stock... told me something else was "comparable", when it was actually too small, more expensive, and a total crap tire...)

Regardless, buy new from any of the reputable wheel/tire companies (Tire Rack, Discount Tire, 1010Tires, etc...) offer good products at good prices. They also send proper hubcentric rings with all their wheels, so you don't have to worry about figuring out what specs you need!
