    Theorectical Build From The Ground Up - Inline 4 Engine Selection

    Here you can choose which inline 4 you would like. To keep it 100% pure bred, the selections will be directly from Honda. Any questions, concerns, debates, or other, feel free to PM me.

    I left out a few as it would be no fun putting a one-point-something-liter into a car that originally came with a 2.2 liter engine. There's no replacement for displacement in NA cars. We can boost anything, so...

    I did put the F20 on the list. You can't win them all.

    If the k20c is the k20c1 from the civic type R then that would be my choice. New tech and a stock turbocharged engine would be a lot of fun.

      ^ Yes, that. Want that clear as well. As long as it's not the C2, haha. Adapting the whole engine, trans/diff, and suspension from the FK8 would be incredible.

      *ED. - I'm going to go ahead and assume that by "K20C" you mean the FK8 engine, so that gets my vote. In stock form, it'd be perfect for my use.

        I would go for the H23A, but it doesn't have VTC....

        I'm assuming we're boosting, so VTEC isn't that important.
        2.4L is nice, we have AWD so traction won't be an issue.

        DI is also nice...K24W? Supercharged? With the hybrid part driving the supercharger for infinitely adjustable boost?

          FI hasn't been discussed/decided yet. Anything can be easily added and tuned - well, easy is relative.
