    H22A1 swap; CEL code 6

has anyone delt with this issue? how can i be sure which temp sensor is actually the problem?

did you recheck both sensors? the one on the front water neck & rear thermostat housing?

Those are the fan switches your talking about, the ECU engine temp is the white plug in the middle of the head, under the Dizzzy.
Dash temp sensor is the front black plug one.

I've unplugged both the waterneck/thermostat sensors and got nothing but a HOT motor.
Plugged them back in and the fans turn on, but only with both plugged in.

thanx guys for your responses. i figured it out i had just crossed up my plugs when taping my harness back up and ran the wrong wire to the back of the motor. i fixed that and now the h22 is pulling HARD
