Well, some of you may remember me. I was very active on the site around 2008-2010. My last cb was actually built by one of the current moderators (chessboxer). Since that car I've been out of Honda's since, about 3 years. I've been daily driving my 04 ram (my daddy mobile) and was on craigslist and ran upon this car. I'd been wanting a project for awhile but hadn't found anything I wanted. I love the cb chassis and always wanted to do my own all out build.Enough of my rambling ,this is the car.
The car is a frost white on blue, 93 lx sedan. It started its life in Lexington Virginia (1hr from me) and I am the 3rd owner. It has 297,xxx miles on it and it definitely shows. To be nice, the car is rough. The first owner took very good care of the car judging by the huge book of service records. The second owner however, beat it to death and should not be aloud near cars. Here are some details, current parts and future plans.
This was my first cb back in 2009. I miss is a lot and really wish I still had it. It met it's maker by hitting a guardrail not long after I traded it off.
This cb will probably look somewhat like it, but also be different. Also since and with my last 4-5 civics I've become completely addicted to spoon parts. I know spoon never made any cb parts, but I plan to incorporate as many as i can and retrofit some civic/integra parts.
Here's some pictures of it's current state, when i picked it up and some future plans as of now.
When i picked it up and the dd towing it home.
First thing i did when i got home was tear into it. I pulled the bumper, headlights, grille, oem wing, and took all the aem/jegs stickers off it .
Once that was done we began to pull the motor and remove the ac/ps/cc. Note the whole front of the motor is OIL SOAKED.
Working on it a few evening after work we finally got the tired old f22 out.
Here's some pictures of it's current state.
