ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

yes, that is exactly what i'm saying. when relocating a battery, a lot of people just put it in some random place in the trunk, usually on the passenger side almost to the taillights. the further the battery is from the center of gravity, the higher the torque it has and the more energy is required to get the car to turn. a 150lb person (you skinny ass :P) sitting in the driver's seat has his ass within a foot or 2 from the center of gravity, so it isnt that bad. also, you cant really move the driver around a whole lot, but you can move the battey around to an optimal location a lot easier.

what about that jack honda gives us in the truck in the side panel? Should we move that to? then center the spare wheel exactly? then move my exhaust piping and muffler outlet to the center of the bumper?

No, putting the exhaust in the middle wouldn't help you as much because you want it on the passenger side to help offset your weight, and if you have to position a spare wheel just right to get better balance, maybe you need a new wheel that's not so lopsided????????

Hey Steel, sometimes it's impossible to teach. Good try though.

To the OP, I would follow the advice that others have given thus far, I know there are other threads that pertain to this exact topic, maybe you could search thoughs and see if they mentioned anything else or different.

The whole entire car as you got it from the factory isn't perfectly balanced (obviously) im just pointing out that such steps as that are a tad rediculous

dont be a closed minded douche. moving a 30-40lb lead-acid battery from a bad position to a good position will make a HUGE difference in the weight balance of the car.

but yes even though you were being facetious, every one of those things you said will help with the balance of the car, just to a lesser extent than the battery.

lol moving stuff in ur car wont do anything, it might balance ur car, so what its not like u use it for porffesional track racing, it doesnt matter man
if u relocate the battery to the trunk just make sure it doesnt move around. thats it
