ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The last time I paid attention to my gas mileage was on a trip between my city and the next town over (roughly 33 miles away). Topped off before leaving and topped off at the same gas station and same pump (just to eliminate as many variables as possible) and got around 28 mpg. I live in hill country though so that would account for my mpg being lower than the previous time I tested it at 34 mpg which occurred on open road with long stretches of constant speed and few if any hills.

I run about 25-26 for in town driving with an F22A6 and Prelude transmission. 30+ on the highway. My 92 EX does roughly similar, 32+ on the highway. My son managed to consistently squeeze 30 out of the wagon over last summer with a lot of highway driving.

I have a full exhaust kit and and air intake. I just fixed a leak I had in the alexhaust and a vacuumed leak in the valve cover. I can make it 350 miles just over a half a tank. I believe the car is about 16 gallon tank, I’m rangin I’m at about 35 miles to the gallon right now.

The tank is advertised as 17 gallons, but that's not all usable. In most of my Accords, the light comes on at about 14 gallons and the most I've ever put in one (literally died because it ran out of fuel) was 15.3 gallons. Keep a log of miles driven vs. gallons used to get a true record of your mileage.

I haven't been able to actually calculate mine as of yet. 91 LX 5 speed. Once I get to half tank the car starts bogging down. I am thinking its the fuel pump. But I am around 245-260 miles on a half tank. So I wanna say between 27-30mpg but it is 95% highway driving to and from work.

Could be the fuel pump but more than likely the filter underneath is clogged with debris or it is not sitting correctly in the tank. I had a "bogging" when my tank would be 1/4 full and it was the filter kinked up againt the tank instead of sitting flat at the bottom. Either way you would probably better off replacing it and then checking your MPG's.
