ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

BTW any pics of the EGR? and where is it and what's it purpose i haven't really studied that b4?

but yeah i used one of those paperclips with the colored condom on there but i peeled off both Sides but THAT should still work right? if not then im going to Find a ALL 100% metal one
All metal is best. Or wire, as suggested.

EGR is Exhaust Gas Recirculation. It's an emissions device that sends a portion of your exhaust gasses back into the engine to be burned again.

    http://www.answers.com/topic/exhaust...cat=technology

In terms of performance, it's actually not a great thing (just about ANYTHING emissions related negatively affects performance) It is necessary if you want the car to be legal, though (and not kill the planet!)

If it's not blinking, then the paper clip isn't making full contact.

If you want, cut that connector off and just connect the wires. That ensures a solid connection.

If you want, you can install a switch.

You bastard, now i have to do that. That is an awsome Idea. Since ill be temp. running the jdm p13 with the C plug. Ill have a CEL all the time, so i can check it easily.

The USDM motors have only 3 plugs in the ECU. JDM ones have 4, one for the Traction control I think. Code 41 i beleive it is. I cant confirm this, but mine has it.

USDM has plugs A,B,D. JDM has A,B,C,D

I believe there's a vacuum line that should run from your EGR lift solenoid. I'm not sure exactly where it goes on an H22 Accord, since I've never worked on one. The line looks like it should run alongside your fuel rail, probably to a vacuum assembly somewhere on the driver's side of the car.

You can see the vacuum line sticking up in the air on this H22 IM.
