high output alternator

what exactoly are the benefits of one of these, i was told it will help me have a bigger sound system which is actually my plan. think u guys can give me other easons why this would be worth my while

Great question. thanks for starting this thread, now I can ask my question too if you don't mind. I was thinking about getting one myself too. You see, my alternator went bad about a little over a year ago. So I changed the bush on the inside and its been working ever since. But I know that it won't be long until I'll need to replace the alternator. And when i do, I'll probably get a highout like a 130 amp.

The question that i had in mind was actually something else besides the reason for audio set-ups:

If I get a high output alternator, will the curcuitry in my vehicle be better? such as light might be a little brighter, ignition sparks a little stronger, basically will it improve my performance?

Well, I don't know for sure where to find them except ebay. But I want something more legit.

High output alternator = more electrical power & less suffering on vehicled equipped with tons of high powered audio system. Our factory alternator cannot handle high end audio systems.
