warm it up with a lamp, hair dryer, heat gun, etc. maybe an oven, but be careful. Warm it up progressively and stay in the 250 degree range.

I guess it doesn't really matter even if it were to get torn up if you're going to fix it anyway.
The front mount is the only one I have done and now after more than a year it still looks just like the day I filled it.

So I filled a new front motor mount today with 3M window weld, but I am still a little unsure on how long it takes to cure. Does anyone know how you can determine that it is fully cured? I know Lucid said 24 hours in his first post, but now I am a little worried about the two weeks comment. Just thought I would revive this thread for some more clarification. Thanks.

It was only "bad" at idle. Note though I had my balance shaft and no A/C. Either one will make shit worse at idle. It was pretty much good above 900 RPM though.

A different product. 2 part Polyurethene 60a.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_od...+500g&_sacat=0
You can choose your stiffness. Drys in 1hr. Gets thick and treacle like in 5mins. It self levels.
Both sides looked like this. Ive freshed up the mount since before I installed it and sprayed over it in black and paint adheres to the rubber no problem.
