    Questions About HP Sticky

Hey Guys, got some questions about the "How to make 30+hp for $500 or less" thread...

The F22A6 ECU, is this something that I would put in by itself? Or do you switch it out after you've done the other stuff (camshaft, header...etc.)

I'm totally green to any of this stuff

Thanks in advance, for answering my dumb questions!!!

Ideally you install everything at the same time.

F22A6 ECU with the A1/4 engine parts won't be optimal.

Right, what's involved with all of that? Are there any tutorials?

Are there any tutorials (write-ups) on how to do these to my car?

        F22A6 camshaft
        F22A6 ECU
H23A1 intake manifold and throttle body (from a Prelude SI, 92-96 I believe) -
        F22A6 IAB "black box"

Not that I know of. Just grab a service manual. It'll have all the specs you need.

The installation of above mentioned parts is all kinda based on your wrenching skills and how comfortable you are doing certain things. There are some tricks to doing some thing which would help.

I personally went to the JY and got an A6 cam and IM for $25. I already have a pt6 ecu from my old accord.

But again it comes down to your wrenching skills

                The only one worth anything.

They make the factory manual. It's expensive, both you'll find out it's worth every penny. I buy them for each car I own.

I don't have any tutorials but probably could answer any specific questions you had about the installation. I just installed the H23 plenum and throttle body on mine.

That's what I'm nervous about, LOL.
How is it? Hard? Worth it?

It's incredibly hard. 10hp is definitely worth it, though.

                          Yup. It's incredibly hard.
Actually, "hard" is 100% subjective... essentially an opinion. One person's definition of hard may not be another's.

                            Where would I find one?
Could I pay a shop to install it?
