awesome. Everytime I look at this thread it makes me want to cam my car. I told myself I'm done spending "big" money on it this year though, I need a daily! Haha

Man Betsy sounds mean now .

Do you know roughly how much of a power gain there was with this hardweld cam?

That cam lope. I would never want to get rid of that sound.

it should be 185-190whp on the f22b bottom end and in the 230-235whp range on the f23 bottom end. im hoping to keep the mileage reasonable this time. my last big hardweld that made 249 was a bit too aggressive. i need to get larger valves. the exhaust side holds back on higher rpms at the stock displacement. with a 5.75% increase in displacement it only gets worse. its why i had so much duration on the last big cam on the exhaust side, this effected scavenging badly so it loped hard and ran like crap everywhere but WOT. so far so good on this one. it has good driveability, moderate low end with enough torque to move through traffic and up inclines without down shifting. man when it hits 4500rpm it comes alive though, lol. ill try to get some acceleration vids up sometime.

Hit up wed3k for some SS .5mm OS valves from PEP.

so i tried 2-15" rockford fosgate P1S2-15's on my R750.1D just to see if i wanted more sub.

definitely not. everything vibrates and musically its crap. the single 10" is the way to go for me. crazy how people prefer to bump the block down over sound quality. the accord just doesnt have the air space for much more than what i have, lol.

That's not entirely true, back in the day I knew a guy with 4 15's and a Soundstream Da Vinci amp, in his trunk.

A friend of mine used to run two 15's in a '91 Accord. Felt like the whole frame was going to come apart the way he played his music. I used to have a single 12" in my CD5 back in the day and it was more than enough for me and I barely pushed it. I'll get to the audio in my CB7 one day.

I tried two 12" in a sealed box in my car once and I did not like it at all. I think my max is one 12" though currently I have one 10". It's like you say, it just doesn't sound good anymore.

For audio quality it's hard to beat 2 10subs in a sealed enclosure with the proper amount of airspace. If you want th to hear you down the block, then that's a different story. Me personally, I currently don't have too much in my coupe. Just stock OEM honda speakers up front with some under powered. 6x9's on the rear deck. All powered by the built in rail amp. It's kinda sad.

i need to get my ass in gear and put my box together. i have the materials, just keep procrastinating, lol. one 12" would be pretty nice. maybe thats what i will try next. 750rms on a single 12" sub tuned at 32-34Hz would be pretty wicked if it stays sounding clear.

I've been sitting on 2 pheonix gold xs2500 for a long time now. I wanted to throw them in, but now I don't want the added weight.

Thats why I went with the NVX MVPA4 amp for my highs. Plenty of power and weighs about 1.5lbs. Its been a great amp. About 300w rms/4 @ 4ohm at 13.5v. They also sell a monoblock that is the same size that does 475w rms @ 2ohm. Both are less than $270 together. They're about 4"x6"x2". I love em'.

Damn that amp dyno is expensive!!!! I'd rather buy a used AP for more flexibility and in-depth analysis.

Anyway, those look like some pretty stout amps for there size. I've never seen them before. They look like they'd fit in the double din opening and combined with a small tablet, you'd have a pretty modern head unit.
