Nice DIY. You really simplified the process. I thought it was way more difficult than that.

they dont fix man. i got the ex tranny and the 5th gen manual tranny mount dont fix.. maybe cuz i gotta loosen the other motor mount and push the engine forward just alittle bit to make it fix? the only mount loosen is the driver, front that's it.

this has been on my mind for awhile about this tapping thing
                i have a 5spd
why do we have to tap the tranny?

do we do this to use our mount and bracket?
or why can't we just use the prelude mount and bracket
                will it fit?

                thanks

you tap the LUDE tranny so the ACCORD mount will fit.

Wait, so what do I have to do to put an H2U5 into a 98 prelude? Will it go in or do I have to drill holes? Are the holes already there, just not tapped or is the hole just blank metal?

IIRC h2u5 is from an f22a6 and should have the blank stud holes... double check, make sure theres 5 studs on top of the tranny, 3 tapped, 2 not. yes you would have to drill and tap the 2 extra holes.

cuz I tryed this with my full H swap on my A/T CB frame. & the mount was way too forward

yes this is for a 5spd going into a 5spd frame.

auto->manual conversion is something different and doesnt usually require you to drill or tap the transmission.

Youre stuck on this because you have no deductive reasoning skills. Either that or reading comprehension. Why am I thinking youre suffering from some combination of the two? If you use a cd mt mount or a 4g Prelude mt mount you do not have to tap an h trans. You will have to tap the f trans to use one of those mounts.
