I think Im going to just build the birch box and maybe run a nvx 1200w amp on my 10 for now. Im back on track building my street monster again. Im going to build another f22/f23 hybrid with a broader powerband. Hence the new header.

You're going to love that exhaust manifold.

I've seen a few reviews showing 3-4whp over the bisimotos header. Its got to be way better than mine. Mine has been leaking since day one, lol.

^don't even get me started on the leaks! Wicked excited about the reflanged H header #2. Who does all your welding or at least who's gonna weld the flange on for you?

Probably one of my buddies at Carolina Dyno. I've got about three of them that are really good with tig welders. I haven't decided if I want to split the pairs and build a new collector merge or rebuild from the flange to the first step in the primaries.

I really want to do the same with the PLM 4-1 drag header. Excited to see what you find!

You guys should watch this if you are thinking about the bisimoto, rmf or logic style headers.

Those runs are close enough that the same header could have produced those numbers if run 3 separate times. I wish they had shown a 3-way comparison of the area under the curve gained over a baseline. Though these dyno videos are hardly ever scientific.

its not the peak numbers that shifted my preference its the dip in the midrange is almost non existent with the logic style header and the one piece design. You know just as much as I do exhaust scavenging is a big deal to us all motor guys. With as many leaks as my bisimoto header had when new its only went down hill in the past month or so. The header is cracking all over. At 3550rpm~, its lost a little over 29wtq. Peak its lost 13whp,14wtq. Its crap. There is no scavenging happening if there's leaks at all.

If you are performance minded, take exhaust leaks seriously, lol.

I have an H2B version of that header sitting around. I've contemplated whacking the flange off and reangling it for some time.

My first reaction after seeing that crack is to tell you how frustrated I am. Then I think about what Bisi's response would be and I shudder. All you can do is suck it up, Buttercup.

Thats exactly what I did, lol. Im not even the least bit upset. It only cracked because his welder cheats the bends. Its all good though, im ordering the f23 bottom end again in a couple of weeks. I want to try a few more things.
