You could blend it out though... Modding the fenders is not 100% necessary, but the headlights will stick out about 3/8" or so beyond the front of the hood and the corner lights do not fit the fender "perfectly", but it's your call there. Modding the hood is definately necessary, and there are many ways it can be done, just depends on whose doing it I guess.

It's hard to say what it would cost to do this, I didn't keep track of my time into it, probably had around 25 hrs body work + paint time. Probably not a worthwhile mod unless you and/or a friend with tools and knowledge do it yourselves.
This is very similar to the Legend headlights I was going to do, I just didn't have the tools to do it .

Understandable. I'd never attempt to do it if I didn't have all the tools I needed either.

But I may do it later on down the road with a BB4 Dash (Maybe?). The idea still lingers

I made mine with balsa wood and fiberglass. I used balsa wood cause it absorbes the resin very well, it's light weight, and easy to sand and shape. First, complete the headlight swap. Then mask your headlights off with masking tape. Close the hood, and use a sharpie to draw a line on the tape where you want your eyelids to be. Pull the headlights out and lay a few layers of resin soaked squares of fiberglass chopped mat over the area for your eyelids. It's best if you apply a good coat of car wax over the masking tape first so your eyelids pop off when they're dry. When they're dry, trim them to size, re-install the lamps, put the lids in place, build your center grill piece, and fiberglass them all together.
