At this point I've decided to hold off for a while on getting a snake, I have other things I need to get done around the house that are more important. Thanks for the pics that were posted!

I think Snakes and Lizards are Cool i Might be getting one soon too, But i am terrified by spiders bigger than 4cm, Even if its dead.

i have owned and still own multipule reptiles. at one point i had a ball python im not a very big fan of snakes but that one was kinda cool. they are not agressive so they wont bite. but yes it is true they are escape artist. but me personaly i would get a lizard instead. right now i have a green iguana, two bearded dragons, two chinese water dragons, and a mexican red knee tarantula. if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I have one right now. She's pretty mild tempered.

Just make sure you feed it in a cage other than it's housing tank to teach it that nothing in its main tank is food. then you never have to worry about a hungry snake jumping the gun.

Also worth mentioning, is snakes grow to their habitat mostly. Feed them lots and keep them out or in a really large tank and they'll grow a ton. mine has been between 2.5 to 3ft for the longest time because she isn't kept in a big tank.

Don't get on the forum much anymore, but revisited this thread and thought I would update it.

In July I purchased a male Ball Python Spider morph. He's pretty awesome! I named him Nathan Scott Phillips (aqua teen hunger force). He was 21" long when I got him and he's already grown a couple inches and gotten twice as big around. He's really good when handled, and only bit me once by mistake. I was feeding him his mouse and when he struck at it I dropped it. I reached down to pick it up and he bit my thumb. Anyway, I will try and post pictures sometime.
