ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

How rare are wagons? I am looking at picking one up tomorrow.

A friend just sent me an ad for a 91 EX wagon with the 5 speed for $800. It has 180k miles and runs reliably, according to the post. It is silver (or gold, can't really tell) with a red interior. Looks mostly stock and unmodified. Going to look at it tomorrow but I wanted to see what you guys thought of that deal. Are wagons as rare as I think they are? I haven't even seen one in person where I live and there isn't much information online.

    Thanks.

They’re not necessarily rare, but they’re certainly uncommon. Especially an EX with a manual transmission. At that price, if it’s not in terrible shape, that’s a deal.
Look for rust on the rear quarter panels. Damn near anything else is a fairly easy fix. Body rot can get expensive.

The guy is going to send me some more pictures tomorrow so I can get a better look. The car has been in Nevada so rust usually doesn't get as bad (at least from road salt and such, we use sand here). From the pictures I did see, the quarter panels looked ok. It does have more miles than my 92 LX sedan that I currently am driving but I have always wanted a wagon, even if it has the ugly red interior.

Care to share a link so we can see the pictures as well and help you look for stuff? But like Deev said, that is not a bad price at all.

          Yes, I concur ...

And as Deev said above, a 5 speed wagon isn't rare, but they are getting verry rare ..
