Seats not going all the way forward?

Just got my accord last saturday. The seats dont move very far forward, well, not as far as my last car. I'm 5'9", average I guess, so how can I drive in a less gangsta position?

    Thanks

1st, , are you sitting in the seat when trying to move it forward?
2nd, have you check the rail to make sure nothing is impeding the progress/movement of the seat itself?
3rd, is the seat rail well lubricated?

I'm not sitting on it while adjusting it, I have looked, but not very well for obstacles, and what should I use to lubricate the rails??

you have to sit in the driver's seat, or someone needs to, in order to adjust it.

I spent forever attempting to get a bent up mangled coin out of my rail.

the worst feeling is jumping into your car thinking everythings fine and reaching down, lift the lever and slide the seat forward then THUNK... stopped short... you just CRINGE knowing you nailed a coin... and that since you hit it so hard, its surely stuck....

              lol

                  damn seats!!!

Yup, my girl decided that she was goin to take my ride for a spin and like a minute later she comes back in and says the seat wont move forward!! I go out to inspect and find a quarter jammed in the slider. I had to take the seat completely out of the car to get the coin out. damn that was a bitch!
