New wheels advice, what offset and width?

Guys,

I'm days away from ordering some new 17" wheels. The ones I want are available in 7,5J and 8,5J and offsets +20 and +35.

Which combination is best for our 1990 Accords? Personally, I was thinking 7,5J and offset +20, I think 8,5J is a bit too wide. Or will it fit?

By the way, as would like to keep current steering radius, since the steering radius is already quite big of an Accord.

8,5 is a bit wide. You can run it, but there will be some fitment issues and work that you'll have to do to make them fit without rubbing. If you go that wide, the lower offset (+20) would be the way to go to push the rim out further.


Personally I like to run no wider than 7,5 on a 17". +30 all the way to +40 offset.
I'd go with the 7,5 with +35.
