Here's why MRC driver's side engine mounts suck.

I need to replace all my motor mounts and I ordered MRC pn #A6512. Wow, I think they may have come up with a better version if they made their molds with Play-doe. That said, they can fit, they just play hard to get.
The right side vertical hole was off center, and the other one too, just not as much. What's worse, the left side hole was too small of a diameter to fit that stud's shoulder.
I thought it must've been an anomaly and returned it for another. Same story. So I said fuck it and drilled out the replacement's left side hole to 9/16".
Now before I could get that far, I had to address the overall width problem of the MRC part. Compared with the Honda part via straight edge, the MRC part's horizontal bolt shaft is maybe 3mm to wide. The original is a pretty snug fit, but it's spot on. This was so off I had to widen the mount a touch with my breaker bar. After that I took a dead blow hammer, a piece of 2x4 and whacked it a couple times and it dropped into place (kinda).
After a little massaging, some red wine and a little pillow talk I was finally able to get all the bolts fitted and torqued down.
It's really funny how the front dogbone mount just slid right into place, but this design will apparently take a NASA engineer to make right.
Are the aftermarket rear mounts as difficult to replace?

they must be some jank ass mounts, I got a whole set of Anchor brand for like 120 bucks and they went in without one issue other than getting the engine where its supposed to be; to line up the mount sleeves with the holes. And a couple of love taps to get the bolt through
