If you have a beloved daily use car, that you put a lot of money, effort and time on it, and you have to fix something serious once again (a bad transmission, for example), like every month, what would you do? continue spending on it or sell it to buy another car? (heart vs. conscience).

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

But with a 20 year old car you have to expect your tranny or some other thing will go out eventually.
also your english isn't bad at all

Did that in the case of my MK2 Jetta. Traded my CB for it, every possible thing went wrong with the Jetta in a 2 month period, so I got rid of it, and have had 3 Accords since.
Any pros with the Jetta? I don't know, less mpg, more hp or something like that?
I think my cb are spending too much gas. I did the tune up, I've used cleaning treatments, I did everything except to change the o2 sensor.

Lets just say the Jetta was the worst car I have ever owned. They drive nice, but they always break (mechanical and electrical), parts are expensive to repair them, VW uses many special fasteners to put them together, so you almost need to buy a whole new tool kit just to work on your VW.
Mine was particularly bad, mostly due to previous modifications and repairs not done properly.
I had all sorts of issues with the car, and I spent more time fixing it than I did driving it. At one point, I couldn't figure out what was wrong, that I went out and bought a crappy, but running 1989 Mazda 323 for $300, just so I had something to drive while I could fix the VW.
None of my Hondas have ever put me in that situation. I have also learned not to buy a vehicle that is modified by someone else, unless it has been professionally done by a reputable shop or tuner.

before you put in gas and that should clean them, should solve your gas problem

Do you like your cb7 (or whatever car you are talking about) enough to put up with its quirks? If not maybe get something newer.

Last month was a axle, a month before was the alternator... I don't know what's worse, my old car or divorce, Lol

Repair bills or payments, pick your poison, any used car is going to need work, some less then others, Hondas are usually pretty good about reliability hence why we have a forum devoted to a 20 yr old car lol
Your either gonna pay to fix something used, or make payments so the manufacturer can fix it ie warantee lol

Follow your heart..(too cheesy?)
But seriously, if you really have love for the CB, then keep it. I'd rather be happy driving MY car with all its personality and quirks rather than drive something that bores me half to death.
And if the trans really is the issue, do a 5-speed swap and fore-go all the inherent autotragic gremlins we all hear about.
I've had the same 5spd since highschool and it's held up to some pretty serious beatings over the past 8yrs.
Best of luck with your CB!
